Windows 10 PC: when I downloaded the Dero wallet and extracted the files from the zip file I got immediate trojan warnings from Windows Defender. Should I ignore?
If you don’t trust pre-compiled binaries, feel free to verify the source code and compile it yourself.
Windows Defender can have false positive also. and DERO contains a cpu-miner executable file in archive.
A lot of miners will show up as a threat. I make a folder and named it DERO then go to Windows Security and add an exception to that folder, so it doesn’t scan it and remove it. If you ignore that message Windows might decide to quarantine the file.
