I wanted to start a thread for people to be able to show Captain their gratitude and express their respect and appreciation for his works in a way that does not demand anything back from him.
We have demanded enough, and the trolls on the fringe of the community have desecrated our space by their pump and dump scams, then blaming it on Captain… by exploiting a potentially wallet level bug and blowing it out of proportion… to all sorts of BS, screaming that we should remove him because we were too centralized on him. Now we are all paying for it.
I believe this could be at minimum energetically blocking Captain from being a part of things like before. I admit, I have cried actual tears many times due to his absence, and I know Im not the only one who’s heart is deeply grieving that Captain has for what ever reasons withdrawn.
So, I would like to create this thread, as an offering… a space where Captain is invited to read, but not not expected to respond or interact… only receive. It’s time we give back the tiny bit of what we can to honor a noble hearted leader who has given us so much.
Let’s light the torch to clear his name and honor him, even if he never returns to us in the same way.
Captain- I honor you as a genius level dev, humanitarian, and love led leader who guided us safely to the shores of privacy. You left us a legacy, and you asked nothing in return. You slaved for decades giving us your life’s work, not for glory, not for money, but for integrity in what you believe in.
I bow to you, great Sir, for all that you have endured in silence, and sacrificed for us.
