Can I assume that you now have restored your seed phrase to https://walletatlantis.dero.io and are logged in but with no funds, correct?
In this instance, then go to settings → rescan from start topoheight and enter 0 then allow the heights to re-sync.
if this is the case, then this is not a decentralized protocol. and shouldn’t be stated that it is.
The wallet file, password etc. is unique to whatever system you’re on. Has nothing to do with the network at all… just what it is storing the data into.
i did that. it took a day. i did it twice.
nelbert…i’m i saying something wrong. i checked it every week. logged the same way. with the same handle, there was only one, and the same password. something changed.
and that was for over 6 months.
if i give you or someone the address that i sent from trade ogre to the wallet, can somebody track down where the money is?
Nope. Nothing anyone can do with that information.
https://wallet.dero.io - this is the website you checked so often correct? Then stopped checking conveniently months ago (pre-February 2022) to which we migrated to Stargate. Once we migrated, the web wallet (https://wallet.dero.io) was retrofitted for supporting the stargate network. the previous configuration that was hosting configuration for atlantis wallets migrated to https://walletatlantis.dero.io
When you create a wallet file (the name, password you define) , it is stored in your browser’s cache. This cache is associated to the given website to which you visit. This is why you still see the old configuration/wallet file etc.
You say you have the seed. Go to https://walletatlantis.dero.io , or use the methods I described above for cli/gui wallets, and restore your wallet from seed. Give it time to re-sync the entire chain. If you still see no funds, look for transaction history and see if it ever was received/sent. If not, you have the wrong wallet.

nelbert, i can’t seem to follow the discord group i don’t know why.
let me say this again…the handle migrated to the new wallet, but the password doesn’t work. and put the 25 word seed phrase in the atlantis wallet and a ran a full node, and there’s nothing there. why did the wallet handle migrate, but not the password in stargate.
and to be honest with you…i don’t know if that seed phrase is the right one. i set it up over a year and a half ago. it’s the only seed phrase i have in my computer in my dero file.
the only thing i have now, after trying everything else, is the Tradeogre addresses. i went to the blockchain explorer for dero, but i don’t know what to work it, and i got exhausted after messing with it for days. i need help.
do i need to get a pro to help me? and i hear they are going to burn tokens that aren’t swapped? what is that about? is that true?
so basically i’m going to lose over 1000 dollars because. that’s a lot of money for me.
Any seeds you have, restore and check your address with the TradeOgre one you sent to all that time ago.
Once you have the right address, let it resync. Then perform swap methods to official addresses above or here: DERO CN to DERO HE Swap Instructions Browser Wallet — DERO Documentation documentation
Steps 1-3 just replace the process with restoring from seed and validating your wallet address shown at top. Give some breath, think through and find the seed that is for the address . Once you’ve found it, settings and rescan . If you know the height of your transaction, set that number but otherwise set 0 and let it resync.
If you have no other seed than the one, and that is not the right address . But still have wallet cache then you may be able to do some other options to get that wallet file to use on https://walletatlantis.dero.io
