Wallet account registration to blockchain fails

Hi,
I’m trying to setup a new CLI wallet, and when I press ‘4’ Account registration to blockchain after a while I get the following error:
Registration TXID <>
sending registration tx err offline or not connected. cannot send transaction.

I have attempted this twice with the same result. Am I doing something incorrectly?

Make sure your node is fully synced before trying for registration in wallet.
