DERO is an experimental new blockchain working to implement cryptonote privacy features, smart contracts and lightning fast transactions on single chain.
Smart contracts would be public but address/parties involved in carrying out transactions with smart contracts would be private.
Many additional features and enhancements are planned which will improve blockchain technology including stability and transactions speed.
DERO is being written in golang to include smart contracts and many additional features.
