I understand the plan is to phase out remote node pools to avoid mining centralization.
Instead of getting rid of remote nodes, just make 100% of rewards go to the the node wallet. This would prevent public pools while still providing users the ability to mine with all their devices directing to a single private remote node.
An enhancement would be to output details of each connected miner, including miner id and hash performance – so that all miners could be monitored from one remote private node.
